Okay, I should've done this earlier because I can't remember what I did. Let's go from what I remember.
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday Thursday
At the moment it's a big haze of nothingness. I should really write it down sooner if I want to remember it later. I'm pretty sure that it was on Thursday that I saw Appleseed Ex Machina
Friday
I searched for the first Ghost in the Shell film from 1995 (the one with a character called The Puppet Master) and I finally found it, Yay. So I watched it. I have to admit, The Puppet Master was nothing like I'd imagined but then again nothing ever is. Let's see, what else did I do? Ah, while watching Ghost in the Shell I found an old film that I've been looking for ever since I was a little girl. I couldn't remember the title or much about it, all I remembered was there was a unicorn who a guy tried to capture, thinking that she was just a white mare, and she exclaims "Mare" and that she was later turned into a human. I finally found it. Okay, so 10-16 years (I know I was younger that 10 but I can't remember exactly, I guess that 4 would be the very earliest time I'd have seen it, so I gather some time between those two ages is right
) 10-16 years may not seem like such a long time to some of you, but bearing in mind that I'm only 20 now that's over half of my life to date
to me now, that's such a long time. But i finally know it's name, The Last Unicorn.
Somewhere between Friday and Saturday (It was late night to early morning)
I watched The Last unicorn to see if I was really right and I was, and as I watched it I began to remember some things about the film that I knew, but I'd just forgotten, amazing how the human mind works, isn't it. There are a lot of things in the film that I didn't understand when I was a little girl that I understand now, some things come with age and experience and others from the information on fantasy I've picked up over the years. It's amazing the things you don't understand in children's films while you're a child and you only understand them when you grow up, like Dumbo, I never understood about the pink elephants until I was older and realised that people get drunk (not from personal experience, but from absorbing various forms of information around me) and then I understood the whole film completely. bearing my childish lack of understanding I can see how I'd forget that film, because there were aspects of it that I didn't understand, and that coupled with the amount of songs, why do those old films have to have so many songs? I always hated that, because it delayed the story and rarely had anything to do with the overall plot.
Saturday
Technically it was Saturday, I saw the Bleach film, Memories of Nobody. I had to do that because I can't see episode 29 of my current anime D. Gray-man and I refuse to see episode 30 until I've seen episode 29, so until I can find it I'm watching something else which I found somewhere between Saturday and Sunday, Rosario+Vampire.
Well, that's all I can remember now.
Bluebiird out.
