Tonight and tomorrow and the day after and then I get to go hoooooooooooooome. I really can't wait -- it's SO time. A month is far too long a time to spend at someone else's house. Although I have enjoyed myself here, I never can feel really comfortable simply because it's not my house. The decided lack of books has nothing to do with it.

However, speaking of books, I did manage to finish Don Quixote today. I started it on the plane over, expecting to finish it in two weeks so that I could read Dostoevsky's short stories. Maybe I can finish "Notes from the Underground" before I get home.

DQ(Don Quixote) was tremendously good but the end was sad. He just, dies? Carrasco doesn't feel any guilt? Why is everyone so insistent on changing DQ's delusions? Why does everyone like to make fun of him? Not fair. Poor guy, I really felt for him. The Duke and Duchess, especially, were jerks. What is it about people that makes them go sadistic when they see someone who looks weaker than they do? DQ was, perhaps, better than all of them, because he faced his fears. And I now have to go because my mom wants the computer. Cheers to all.

Um...perhaps a spoiler alert should be placed somewhere? You know, before you reveal the ending of Don Quixote. Can't wait to have you back, by the way.

I'm excited about you coming home. Now I want to read DQ! I'll have to add it to my list, but I bet I don't get to it until next summer.
