SUPER EXCITED!

The new pastor was visiting in the homes of his parishioners. At one house it seemed obvious that someone was at home, but no answer came to his repeated knocks at the door. So he took out a card, wrote "Revelation 3:20" on the back and stuck it in the door.
When the offering was processed the following Sunday, he found that his card had been returned. Added to it was this cryptic message, "Genesis 3:1." Reaching for his Bible to check out the citation, he broke up in gales of laughter.
Revelation 3:20 begins, "Behold, I stand at the door and knock."
Genesis 3:10, "I heard your voice in the garden and I was afraid for I was naked."

That was an old joke my parents used to love telling. I was cleaning out the family room and I found an old typewritten copy. Funny, but now, I really can't figure out why I used to like it so much.

Anyway, for the reason I'm super excited. CAMP IS NEXT WEEK! I can't wait to see all the old friends ... Every year, we exchange email adresses and phone numbers and every year I happen to lose them. I'm hanging on to a spark of home that this year will be different.

We picked pictures from Lebanon to print today ... Guess how many pictures? 150 AND we didn't even get through half of them. But anyway we were playing around with some of them and this is how one turned out.

I'm rather satisfied with it.

... Oh, and I might as well say it: I HATE PHOTOBUCKET!

I hope you have fun at camp. Bailey left for church camp this morning. She never writes me. Last year she realized on the last day that she hadn't written me so she stuck something in the mail- like one line- and she got home before the letter. I miss her. Next year Chaney will be old enough to go and in 6 or 7 years they will all be old enough- I’m excited about that.
