I've lost it....

Well time that is. It seems like I'm loosing big chunks, and I don't know where they've gone. This week was a blur, and here I am thinking that it can't be Friday already. I guess there are worse things, but I also can't seem to tell you anything productive I've done at home. I think I've run the same load of laundry three times:lol:. I keep forgetting about it in the wash.

Other than being so busy, things here are great. I've finished painting my kitchen/living room. It is a bright, happy, yellow. I smile every time I look at my walls. The color just puts me in a great mood. This weekend I am planning to get the playroom in the basement painted for my kids. I wan't them to be able to spend time down there and utilize the space, but it is difficult when their toys are scatterd about and they've no place to store them. So, playroom is the job of the week. I also have to reseed my yard and mow my grass (Rich is laughing in devilish delight that I now have my own lawnmower of doom. They always say misery loves company;))

There hasn't been too much else going on. Work is busy, and it is great for me. I can't stand being bored. I just go caught up on everything for the week today, so it was perfect timing. I really like my job. It is a lot of juggling and managing different jobs, people, etc. As long as there is work to be done, then I'm thrilled. It's those slow weeks that are killing me. I'm trying to fill the time with writing now, but this past two weeks haven't allowed it. I also may be getting a new computer program to play with  Anyone who has been reading for a while knows that, along with writing, I love to quilt. I may be getting a design program to help my mom with her business, but it also means that I'll have it for personal use. No more guess work on my quilting. I can pick all the perfect colors and such before ever going to the store. I'll also have better measurements so that I'm not buying too much fabric all of the time.

That's it for now. I'm thinking it is about time to get back to some work.

Much Love,
Meg

Now I must have an interview with your lawnmower before she can date my lawnmower. Actually that could be a bad idea--a union of the mowers could be the last step prior to the apocalyspe.

This all sounds great- except for the lawnmower. I'm really excited about your computer program. I would love to play with something like that.

Yay for quilting programs, and happy yellow colors. My grandma's living room is a happy yellow-- it makes her house welcoming!

quilts are great - it's cool that you can actually make one. I would love to be able to do that some day. I live near the smokies and there are quilt shops up there - I went up one time and got a display quilt really cheap. I love it - it's the most comfortable blanket I have. I feel kind of bad for sleeping under it because it's so pretty - it seems like it should be on display. But then, it also seems silly to take something that has a use and then not use it. Like, having an old hat hanging on a hat rack that no one ever wears and that was never meant to be worn. I've also got two old quilts that someone in my family made over 100 years ago. One looks normal, but the other one is truly made from a bunch of unmatching cloth scraps. But I love both of them, because they're so old. And they're also great to sleep under. I get the best nights sleep under a quilt - especially a light one, that doesn't have a lot of filling in it.

Losing big chunks of time and not knowing where they went? Sounds like you're getting old Meg. That happens to me every day.
