I'm really struck by the Niagra Falls ones.

And now that my daily view consists of sunny Santa Barbara, it's the NY Harbor view that brings the biggest smile to my face.

Thanks Kratsy. Yes, Niagara Falls is stunning. I don't know how else to describe it. I hope some day you can take a trip up there and check it out for yourself. I'm not sure pictures do it justice. Ah, lovely Santa Barbara. You must be getting some tan.

You know what? I can't see any of the puppy photos or of the NYC Harbor. I can see the two posted in this entry but not in that thread. Well, I will have to look at what the pages are to the other links and see where these might fit in. Anyway, I am quite jealous of you and the way that you make the pictures look. They are all so beautiful and nice. My favorite is far and away the Martha's Vineyard group. It looks so pretty there. I think the photos really do capture that fact. The photos are the Arches National Park are fascinating but kind of creepy. Those sort of places are creepy to me. Don't ask me why. Niagara Falls looks stunning, too. I want to take a trip to New York. There is somewhere that I want to go to way up north there. On my way I would probably stop off at Niagara Falls. So these make me even more curious to see that place now. I will definitely have to get back to DC now to out-do you with the photos. You know, I never saw the front of the White House. Isn't that crazy? I will definitely have to see the WWII Memorial, too. Anyway, I like all of the ones of the Capitol, but I especially like the second one. I like how it is almost "peeking" through the trees. Oh! The raptors. The first picture that appeared was the first eagle/flag shot. I seriously thought that it was fake at first glance! Very, very nice pictures, indeed! I am happy to be somewhat associated with them.

I'm glad you liked them Lady Went. You know for som reason I can't open pictures at my work computer, so I think it's the defaults. But then it sometimes opens them. You might want to try later. If you plan on cutting through New York State, try both the Lake Seneca region (Fingerlakes area) and Niagara Falls. Now I'll be looking for your pictures.
