Just got off the phone. Apparently Mom is back to normal again and it's like yesterday didn't happen. She thought she was in the hospital and had wondered whn she got back to the nursing home. Was startled and pleased with this turn of events. I have got to stop prematurely burying people even if they are 90.

And no the check is taking longer to get here then well wishes from my favorite moderator.

Been basically sitting around the house--Ruth actually is puting in a full eight hours today. Been in and out of the computer and doing a little reading. I had picked up two used Mr. Moto novels by James P. Marquand and finshed one and a third of the way thru the other. Should finish tomorrow.

Anyway that's the latest and thank you for prayers and well wishes offered up.

    Wow! I've often thought that people have to be tough to get that old. My great grandmother was in her mid 90s and I really think she just decided to die. I think she could have lived longer, but didn't want to see any more of her children die. I hope you enjoy having the house to yourself. I would love to know what that is like Maybe this fall- ALL OF THE KIDS WILL BE IN SCHOOL!!!

    Glad to hear about your mom. My own worries me, as she doesn't allow any of her kids to do anything for her. Her sister just died, so she is obsessed with death for the moment. Be thankful your mom allows you into her life, my friend! God bless.

    Yes ok I got it, duly chastened I know I'm sometimes, errrr, often, ok... *usually* late to the post but you know I'm always here and only thinking of the best for you and your family. Glad to read that your mother has recovered
