Everything is going wrong, my grant got misfiled so it hasn't come through, my credit card got lost in the post, my last pay cheque was smaller than usual I was misinformed about the exchange rate... I need to pay on arrival at midnight on Sunday evening 6,000 Kronas, because the idiots the university sent last year did a bunk without paying the accommodation fees, and I haven't been able to get the money
Well I did find some this evening but the only accept cash and my cash card has a maximum £100 a day cash withdrawal limit. So I have to go back tomorrow and borrow £500 off my mum, which I am decidedly NOT happy about doing, but Ill pay her back as soon as my grant comes through hopefully the end of next week. And of course there is the is the internet and possible bedroom fiasco, they have booked 2 double rooms for 3 of us and the other woman who is going rang up to ask about it and they told her that she
wasnt sharing a room, which means I might be stuck in with the guy thats going and thats is so not going happen.

And then theres my mum who wants me to take cutlery and cooking utensils from here because like she says theres no point in buying it out there when we have perfectly good ones here. And the travel book that told me to take my own tea becuase Im unlikly to find 'real' tea out there which Im hoping is a lie. ANd the biggest choice of all what books to take?


But other than that Im good really good and off on SUnday on the start of my grand adventure have no idea when Ill be online agains so everyone enjoy your summers!!

    Sorry to hear about all the complications. But it will work out in the end I'm sure. Here's a smile to make you feel better. Couldn't you just buy plastic cultery out there and then throw it out. It seems strange to travel around with cultery.

    the guide is right. bring your own tea. You dont get tea like tea in Ireland and Britain outside of britain, unless you hunt down English or Irish Breakfast tea which isnt always available. I've had some rotten tea outside of the uk and Ireland.

    Oh my goodness. Just reading that made me so nervous for you. SUNDAY!!! So close and so many little problems. I hope that everything is resolved soon. I’m sure that once you get there you will have the time of your life. It sounds like the coolest trip ever

    Nightie, I am sure that all the little things will get sorted out. I was sorry to hear that you are having so much nightmare over the trip. But maybe when it is all over and done, you will laugh and comment that "I wouldn't have had it any other way" ... or somethin' like that? Have a great time and take LOTS of pictures, kay? Love Kizzo
