Here I am lying in bed at 5:30 this morning and my dog sneaks upstairs into the bedroom. She has been doing this for quite sometime lately. I get her onto the bed and I try to go back to sleep. She lies down for a few minutes ans then she starts getting antsy and I know I have to take her out. I get up and take her out back. The next thing I know she starts looking up in the tree and starts to bark. I tell her to be quiet but she continues on. I then look up into the tree and notice a cat has perched itself on one of the branches and was just lying there.
At that point my dog starts circling the tree like a wild animal would do stalking its prey. She then proceeds to paw the ground like a bull would do when its getting ready to charge. Its actually quite funny to watch. If you are standing behind her when she does this you can get dirt flung in your face as this has happened to me from when she paws at the dirt. Meanwhile the cat just stayed where it was nestled in the tree wanting nothing to do with my loveable dog. My dog finally gave in because food is more important to her then trying to chase a cat.
What a life my dog has!!
