Week One

Okay, so what has boring Blue done this week?
Well, on Monday I spent most of the day playing Dragon Rage, one of my favourite PS2 games. It was the first one mum bought me, because it’s about a dragon, and I love it even more because I get to play as the dragon (that so rarely happens, usually you either kill the dragon or have it as a king of pet for a while, but this one’s actually about a dragon (and not a cute cuddlier dragon like Spyro, which I also have)) so I played that for most of the day. And when I wasn't playing Dragon Rage I was trying to do the washing up, it's been piled up for a few weeks. I used my washing up stuff from Uni. because all the sponges were in the sink and I dreaded to think what was growing on them. I managed to get through most of the plates but then I had to give up, the water was too hot. What was I watching then?
Ah, I watched a new episode of Bleach and a new episode of Vampire knight.
Tuesday was bath night. Don’t remember much else. I started a new anime, Rozen Maiden, which I’ve been watching all week.
Wednesday I downloaded a cute RPG to my external hard drive. At some point the hard drive crashed and I haven’t been able to work it since. It turns on but when I plug it into the PC it won’t register. All I want to do is get into it and remove the game, because I think that’s what caused it. You see, under dad’s instructions, when I download games I download them to there, but this is an exceptionally big, online RPG and I don’t think the hard drive could take it. If I lose my GTA3 files because of this, the hard drive is going to be brutally slaughtered with a sledgehammer. However, I have hope because the game runs perfectly well when the hard drive isn’t switched on, so we can hope. I haven’t dared to test it yet, that and the fact I’m not in the mood for GTA3.
Thursday, out of boredom and a desire to keep playing I re-downloaded the game to my PC’s hard drive and it’s been going well, but I keep scanning it now and then with Norton because dad thinks (from over the phone) that the external hard drive has a virus, while I think that it just couldn’t handle everything and conked out (which is why I want to remove the game from it in the hopes it’ll get better, but if I can’t get into it to remove it then the hard drive’s as good as dead.) So, having downloaded the game again I was playing it all day, it was fun, I caught a giant mushroom and now I ride around on it like a space hopper. The main reason I played the game so much was because my anime website wouldn’t work and so I couldn’t see the last two episodes of Rozen Maiden or anything else, let’s hope today’s better aye.
Oh, and I tried to make a stained glass window from old sweet wrappers, it failed. You see, I noticed, in the evening, when the sun shines in the back that the bathroom window pours the sunlight directly at you as you go up the stairs, and I thought it’d be pretty if I got some sweet wrappers and made a little pattern. It failed, I need more wrappers, or thicker plastic, it was pretty weak colour. I got the idea from a box in the living room. It’s an old box from Christmas, just after Henry died and I wished I’d get another cat. He was of the stuffed variety, but he was a nice cat, his name’s Puss and he came to Uni. with Eddie and me. Anyway, he came in a box with a holographic lid, that box it still here, and ready to be reusedand it’s at just such an angle now that when the sunlight comes in through the back window, it makes a pretty rainbow on the ceiling
.
Friday is today, I’ll try to remember to fill it in. Blogged.
And throughout the week, mostly from 12am to when I go to bed, I’ve been watching ‘Allo ‘Allo, continuing on from when I was watching it at Uni, I’m on season 5 now.
Also, ever since I got back, last Friday, I've been mad for omelette, probably because I didn't eat eggs at uni and had no time of patience to do so in the weekends. I cooked mum some omeletts a while ago when he was feeling a bit iffy so we didn't order chinese takeaway. I did a cheese one that came out a bit over cooked and then I offered an experimental omelette which she agreed to, a bacon omelette, ith a solid slice of bacon (I got the idea from Tsubasa Chronicles where they had (what the english version called pancakes, with sausages in them) so I thought, I'll give that a try. We had no sausages so I used bacon instead). The next day I went out and bought sausages and made us each sausage omelette, mum's were cut up, I had mine whole. She had to take over the first attempt at cooking sausages in a frying pan because I kept getting sprayed by the fat and it was itchy, I was doing it a bit wrong, I'd never cooked sausages in a frying pan before, I only decided to do it that way because a boy at Uni. did himself a fry up with a frying panso I thought if he can do that a few sausages should be okay. The sausage oancakes went down well, though mine was trickier than mum's, so the next time I cut up my sausages too. The egg really inflated and I said it reminded me of sausage toad. Mum said that with sausage toad you need to get the fat really hot, so I guess that's why the omelettes rose the way they did, a bit like pies
. and on the way back on the friday I had a great idea for a chicken noodle omelette, chicken because chicken and egg (I got the idea from the "Relative Bowl" mentioned in Lucky Star, in which chicken and egg were included in the dish and the girl put mayonnaise on top explaining how the chicken is the parent and the egg is the child and mayonnaise is made from eggs) So I toyed with adding mayonnaise to my dish too, still haven't decided, actually, I think it was that day I made mum the bacon omelette
. But I plan on cooking it today, a week after I'd planned it.
Well, that’s about all.
Bluebiird out.
