Shannanigan's Search for More...

I'm writing an article for the student newspaper of my university to compare the drug and alcohol abuse of the nation's college students to our college's students. This whole College Hill thing on BET really has the community riled up and in arms...everyone's appauled that UVI students would actually drink, get drunk, and play truth or dare and do silly things like make out and give lap dances. It all seems quite normal to the younger community, though, so there is obviously a little inter-generation tension.

I'm not sure what I'm expecting to find with the survey I will be conducting. I'm going to use actual questions from a national survey that was recently conducted so that I can compare the answers the national survey got to those I find. I'm hoping I can get enough of a representative sample, because I'm a racial minority here and I'm also a junior, whereas most of the students on this campus are freshman and sophomores.

Still, I have hope. It's going to be a toughie, and interesting to see the results, but I have hope.
