Well, it seems lately that the lady litnetters are on the subject of being handy and having the ability to do man-tasks, so I might as well follow suit.
Today, I worked down at my dad's shop. He fixes cars ^^. So today I hand-sanded a Jaguar. A whole entire Jaguar. With a tiny square of 400 grit sand paper. Then I cleaned the shop's bathroom and office. Then I helped with payroll and ran errands with my Mom. Then I cleaned the paint line sweeping up inch-thick deposits of dust in the forgotten corners of the paint booth. Then I gathered all the tools Daddy and our foreman left laying around the shop for the past couple of months, put them in a box, and posted a sign on it that read "missing your tool? You left these laying around! " and put the box of tools on the frame rack. I ended up earning $16 at $2 an hour. I think it would have been more profitable on my end to just ask for a commission for every spider I killed. Now I am covered in dirt, dust, sweat, grease and primer, and I wanna shower!

    Sounds like you had a busy day. So I have to ask, how many spiders did you kill ?

    Countless! In the bathroom alone there were like 20. I had to kill the ones behind the door, too and knock down the webs, and that involved closing myself in the bathroom to get to them, and it was scary. *trembles* And then there were double that at least in the office... and then the random ones I killed in the paint booth and the rest of the shop.

    That's a lot of work. That'll make a man out of you. But you'll have to go on strike. At $2 an hour that's slave labor rates. Good job Anza.

    ugh... spiders. yes, i agree with virgil. you could have been bitten by the spiders... have you ever thought of insurance? ow, maybe get bit then sue?... tease. hope you enjoyed your shower.

    I got a $4 bonus for working super hard! So I earned $20 today!! And I only get $2 a week allowance! And I totally enjoyed my shower, Shurt. But it took forever to get the primer off of me.
