my SAT scores are in!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Critical Reading: 730 97% national percentile
Math: 500 45% national percentile
Writing: 720 97% national percentile
Multiple Choice: 68 out of 80
Essay: 11 out of 12!!!

I brought my math score up 100 points!! I'll probably do the SAT again to see if I can get it up any more but everything else went really well! Especially the essay! I thought I did well on it, but I didn't think THAT well.

It's at times like these when I can sense God's hand is on me. These scores were what I was aiming for (actually I set 500 as my goal for math) but just the fact that I achieved them shows that Somebody's giving me more brains than I started out with .

    Just got on board (you know who uses the computer like someone watches LOTR movies)--well done. Question--didn't have SATs in my day--if you retake the test do you keep the higher of an improved score--or take the whole thing or partials or what?? How does it work. Know you were concerned about Math so glad that worked out for you.

    Wow! Congratulations! Especially on the Math! That is better than I could ever get! I know that if I took ANY test with mathematical problems now I would fail horribly! So, luckily I am in the clear now! No worries there! Good job, though! By the way, an email is coming very soon. I just have been really unwell lately. So, I apologize for the delay, but I have been too worn out to read/write any emails (also, too tired to finish my re-reading of TBK - I bet you're REALLY far ahead now, if not finished, huh? ).

    Nossa, Virg, Sprinks, and Anza Thank you so much! I am so elated!Rich (Nuts! and I wanted to watch LOTR yesterday )If I retake the SAT I have to take the whole thing over again. Different colleges do different things when students have taken the test more than once. Some'll average the scores, others will take the higher score for each section. LadyWentworth Thank you so much! But please, no worries whatsoever for not answering yet! Take your time! I read your entry and saw how sick you were -- don't apologize! How can I be angry? Yes, I did finish TBK, but I'd still love to discuss it with you! Cheers to everyone, and a huge thank you!

    FANTASTIC! But really, I expected nothing less from you. (-; Can I say "I told you so" now - LOL!. (PS: Apparently the SAT test is different from when I took it. We only received a math/verbal score.) FWIW - I wish I had been blessed with your soundness of mind and maturity at your age. My life would have turned out differently. Anyhow, you're going places - the only person who doesn't seem to know that is you. (-:

    Oh you make me so anxious! I won't be receiving my scores until the 26th of this month! I don't think I did so well on the essay though. But my math will be up there (I hope!) since it is my best class...

    Did I mention that timed tests are ridiculous?

    Dori, I really wouldn't worry!! You're up there with the rest of the intellectuals on this site -- you'll do great in everything, wait and see. However, I do very much agree that timed tests are ridiculous! Were you very nervous?
