Grandma's biscuts!

2 cups self-rising flour
3 tbsp vegetable shortening
2/3 cup milk (whole or buttermilk works best)

Grease pan and preheat oven to 380*F. Lay out a sheet of foil; spread a layer of flour over foil (not figured into ingredient list-- too objective). Mix self-rising flour and vegetable shortening with masher until uniform. Add milk slowly, mixing as you pour. Place dough onto floured foil; knead. Cut into medallions. Bake for 20 minutes or until golden brown.
