It is a horrible experience to wake up to a phone call that brings bad news.

My fifteen year old sister woke up this morning to a phone call that there was a car accident involving three people. A friend of my sister's was killed, and the boy she is in love with was driving.

The boy's girlfriend got out of the car fine, the boy though, he is currently in the hospital in critical condition. His spleen has ruptured, he has a punctured lung and internal bleeding in his head. He has just been transferred to another hospital because he wasn't responding to current treatment.

What happened: The three were offroading at night. The boy made a turn and rolled over a cliff.

It hurts so bad to see my sister, only fifteen, having to go through so much pain. She has been on and off with this boy for two years. I know they love each other and drive each other crazy. She had just stopped talking to him because he has a new girlfriend (the one who got out okay). I've been trying to take care of her....but my heart stops just like hers whenever she gets a phone call.

Please pray for them. Pray for the boy, his name is Sean. We hope he pulls through this okay. I don't know what my sister will do if he doesn't.

Thank you so much.

Please accept my condolences on your sister's behalf, Grace and rapid recovery wishes for her ex-boy friend.

It is very difficult to deal with such tragedy when one is only 15 but she is lucky to have your support during this trying time.

I and Ruth will pray for you and hope you stay encouraged in God's love and mercy. Best to your sister. It's a tough age to start experiencing tragedies.

News from Sean's best friend, Sean is stable, but they will be keeping him for awhile. The doctors say he should pull through okay...but they are keeping a close eye.

Thanks for your wishes and prayers. I will keep everyone updated.

What horrible news. I will say a prayer. I can't help but say this, but I have always felt that the driving age is set too low.

Sean is awake, and he is walking. He doesn't know about the death of the girl in the truck yet. I pray he doesn't take it too hard in blaming himself when he does find out; Sean's best friend is going to tell him sometime soon now.

But, my sister still has not been to the hospital to visit him. Rhonda, Sean's girlfriend who was in the truck, will not let my sister see him. It is interesting how she seems to be stuck in this highschool drama while something so serious has happened. I wonder if Rhonda has actually realized what has happened. The only reason she doesn't want my sister to see him (while everyone else in the school has HER permission) is because my sister went out with Sean. I really do hope this childish reason is discovered.

I've told my sister to get a hold of his mom, it is afterall up to her whether or not my sister could see him.
