pigeon panic

Poor Mark. I heard everything, but I didn't see it because I was in bed. Right now though, I am so glad that Mark's my neighbour because it's clear that only he would let this happen . Past two mornings (5:30am onwards) I've been hearig the cooing of randy pigeons (and I know what that sounds like) and it's been awfully close. This morning, just before going to bed I looked out (it was practically daylight) and saw two wood pigeons waddling around on the ground. Suddenly one flew away from beside my window and I figured it out, they were perching on mark's window, and thought nothing more of it. I now remember though tat Mark had shooed it out. Anyway, I thought nothing more of it and went to bed. Anyway, 3pm and I know I should be getting up but I see if I can sleep in just a bit more, suddenly I hear mark calling somone and I hear all. Obviously he leaves his window open day and night (I've closed mine now I've finally turned the radiator off) so two pigeons have got into his room and started making a nest under his bed , he's shoed them out and is now trying to clear up the mess, poor Mark I got up especially after discovering this just so that I could document it for your reading pleasure and I I remember it for later on (should I need to put comedy in a university).

That's all.

Not that I know of, shame but at least we can inagine how it might have looked, a few twigs arranged under a bed, I still can't believe it .

That is strange that pigeons would make a nest inside someone's house. Has it been vacant? Sounds like a comic version of Edgar Allan Poe's "The Raven."

Now that's hilarious! pigeons are filthy birds too, so it' was probably a big mess

Oh no, Mark's been living in his room as long as me, since september when we moved in, the only thing that I can think of is that he has a social life, so it doesn't sit in his room all day like me .
It's not really a house in the conventional terms. It's three floors of rooms and a floor of offices aove that, we all have our own room and two shared kitchens, one bathroom with showers and toilets. I can't believe I'll be sad to leave it in 2 weeks.
