Day After Day

Day after day I return
to the place of writing
of poetry
of reading
of friendship
each day from my heart
is torn another piece
small yet relevant
why?
it is because
day after day I return
to this place which I love
and day after day
I break my promises
where is that poem I promised?
that blog entry?
non-existant
so day after day
I must apologize
for I can't keep my promise
