Insights from a person of questionable sanity

Has anyone heard of the artist Edward Hopper?

His work has been likened to Carver's short stories who writes in a very realistic, minimalist way about blue-collar workers, 'nobodies'. There is lots of stuff on the internet on him and Raymond Carver but I will do something soon for my other blog.

But just given some samples below of E. Hopper's works so if you're familiar with Carver you'd understand why the connection is made.
