Regrets

You know that knee jerk split second desion when you decide to lie rather than give out your number or Msn address? And then as soon as its done you regret it? Well not regret but get a horrible feeling its not going to stand up.

Yesterday someone asked if I had MSN, and thing is the guy gets on my nerves so I said no, I hate MSN--- true enough in that if I did give him one of my MSN addys it would have been the one never go one that has all my family and RL people on most of whom are blocked. Can you just tell someone they have awful breath? I dont thinkso but hes also one of these peopl who gets in your face when he talks so its really unavoidable, I dont want to hurt his feelings but the temptation to yell GO AWAY, or take some gum before you talk to me is growing.

I need to rember that lies rarely stand up and I need to have the guts to say yes I do but your not getting it. I could probably have pretended I was one of those strict-ish people who wont talk to people of the opposite sex on MSN, or on mobiles ( cause when there is noone watching you how long before you start flirting??) course that would have needed too much explaining, and anyway anyone who has been in a class with me will no that when it comes to information Im very hard to shut up and wouldnt have stood up too well either.

That is a thin line to tread. I always hate thinking I might have hurt somebody's feelings. Sometimes, though it is unavoidable. You could always tell him you only share you msn thing with close friends...but then the implication is that naturally he isn't a close friend. Yeesh, all these social niceties!
