I'm currently on the look out for a sweet, uplifting anime film (not a series as I'm already watching 3 (two are on temporary hiatus until the other episodes are uploaded)). I'm looking for a happy little film because I feel a little low right now, not depressed, just a little bit low. Last week I filled up a post-it of all the anime I've watched since moving to Uni. in no particular order;

I think that's everything so far. There might be one or two things I've forgotten but that's basically it so far.
So, like I said, I'm now searching for a sweet, happy, uplifting film that isn't one I've already seen. I'd say it's a tall order but I know that this is just a fraction of the anime out there, I'm not so naive to think that's all there is , I just have to find it.
So, any suggestions (that are available free on the internet without subscription or downloading)?
Ta all. I'll try to remember to update later, but if I do any more to this entry I doubt it'll fit on the screen .

Bluebiird out out out.

    I don't know anything about anime, but I like reading your blog. Every time I read Bluebiird out I smile and imagine you wearing goggles and a white scarf like you're about to take off into the wild blue yonder.

    I would, but I watched it recently. I watched Howl's Moving Castle repeatedly when I first moved in, I'm watching it now in fact, as I haven't seen it in a while. I love the scene where Howl runs out of the bathroom, it's just silly and it reminds me of the first time I saw it advertised in a cinema in Jersey, scenes of it was being projected onto a wall with the subtitles so I couldn't read it clearly, but the iconic image I kept from that was Howl running out of the bathroom and screaming, I got the plot completely wrong because I imagined that he'd seen a spider in the shower and was scared of it couldn't have been more wrong .
    And as for Bluebiird out I can't actually remember why I started it, but once I did it seemed like a signature signing out so I kept it, the only times I don't do it are when I'm very sad or in a hurry.

    Kiki's Delivery Service -- awesome, loved it! (and bought it for my niece to watch together)
