Revelations (major LOTR warning! :D)

I got really excited last Saturday, as I was working on my fanfiction story. Because I had a revelation.
It all happened as my foresight scene morphed into a Biblical prophecy/allegory type scene. At first Boromir was the Lion of Gondor and Faramir the Panther. Then it "grew" into this:
Boromir ~ Courage
Faramir ~ Wisdom
Sedryn ~ Healing (Sedryn is my own character, a healer who's Boromir's wife)
Theodred ~ Cunning (I mean that in the old way, as in someone who displays
keen insight)
Eomer ~ Strength
Eowyn ~ Honor
Aragorn ~ Loyalty, though I'm thinking about changing it to Love
Arwen ~ Beauty
These virtues/characters are interwoven into a dream that Sedryn's father dreamt, but I'm debating changing that so that Denethor has the dream. I'm also debating finding virtues for Legolas and Gimli and the hobbits, but I don't know if I can fit them into the dream, which already needs even more revisions, probably massive ones.
The really cool thing is that these all fit really well, they make sense. I watched most of Return of the King yesterday and I was stunned to see how much, exactly. I know Sedryn is an original character, but it makes sense to have Courage linked to Healing. They are, in reality, linked. Healing -- or doctoring -- takes courage, and courage is, in a way, going through struggles with the hope for healing to come later. Same with Faramir and Eowyn; Wisdom and Honor go together hand in hand. It makes sense for Eowyn to be attracted to Aragorn because it makes sense for Honor to be attracted to Loyalty, but Honor holds closer link to Wisdom.
So throughout my story I'll emphasize these traits in each person. Boromir, and Faramir, since they held together long before Aragorn/Loyalty came, are linked together thanks to a trick Gandalf showed the brothers when they were much younger. When Boromir and Sedryn marry the brothers link her to themselves, and by marrying him Sedryn(who is a healer. It has to make sense) irrevocably seals the contract --takes the part of Healing. Boromir, Faramir, and Sedryn are Gondor's finest, and they are the ones holding Her up: Courage, Wisdom, and Healing. They are dependent on each other and most importantly, on Gondor Herself for strength. As they meet the Fellowship, and most importantly Aragorn, they depend more and more on them for strength -- the Fellowship is the bulwark upon which they stand.
(Boromir doesn't die, by the way. Aragorn goes to the Gates of Death to save him. Yes, surprisingly, Sedryn isn't the one saving him. Not only would that make her a cliched character, but she's fighting her own battles at that moment)
So I've got the Gondorian's parts figured out, but I'm really going to have to put some serious work into the Rohirrim. I'm putting Theodred in my story because I want to craft a story for a character that never really played a part in the story; he showed up only to die. I'm also going to figure out a way to keep him alive, if I can. Both Boromir and Theodred might prove to be too much. Eomer and Eowyn are Strength and Honor, respectively. The problem is, I'm not as interested in Rohan as I am in Gondor, so I haven't gotten much of the Rohan point-of-view as I do the Gondorian. However I'll daydream about it a bit until it comes through.
Then, Aragorn and later, Arwen, come to Gondor and Rohan and that will be both the hardest and the best part to write. With the advent of Aragorn, the loyalty between Boromir/Faramir and Theodred/Eomer will spread to loyalty, and more than loyalty, love, between Gondor and Rohan. After the Ring War Arwen comes and blesses their fruits with Beauty, which is her part in the Dream.
Lol, after all that, I salute anyone who lasted! I really wanted to write that down, as much for you as me. Get my thoughts on paper, so to speak
I'm off to write.
Lord of the Rings -- Requiem for a Dream
