Today is picture day for our new church directory...Olan Mills. I always feel so unnatural...'turn this way, no, a little more that way, leave your shoulders there but turn your head this way, now tilt your chin, now without moving that pose raise your hands above your head and clap, lower them gently to your lap, breathe in, exhale through your mouth, pursing your lips just so, oh nooooo, you moved!!! We'll have to start all over. hahaha

For this torture I get one free 8 x 10 as well as my little mug shot in the directory. But then, the hard sell. While I look aghast at the strange assortment of photos before me, the salesperson is whipping out packages and deals galore and how much my children would love to have a nice photo of their mother....nooooo....I will harden my heart before I ever get there. Hmmm?? Do you think that will show in my face?
