Finally I have some really good news updates for a change:) Things are going along fine on the house. I'm scrambling around to get the last of the paperwork, but things are going well. They've installed a lot of the trim work, and all of the wood work in the kitchen. It is really starting to look like a home inside, and that is a great feeling.

Even better, I finally got another job:banana: I'll be starting in about two and a half weeks or so. Since I didn't find out until today, I want to let my current employer have a full two weeks on the schedule. There is also the added benefit, that I'll still have a flexible schedule when I'm closing on my house. After that, I'll be working Monday through Friday 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. I'll not argue with those hours, and it is going to be really nice to be home in the evening for dinner and putting the kids to bed. I've sighed a huge sigh of relief that I've finally landed another position. I was not looking foward to living with the kids at our own house with me working at all kinds of odd hours.

I also got the papers to enroll Garrick in school for the fall. He's excited, and I'm happy that he is so looking foward to school. It will be fun to see how he grows and learns in the coming years.

I've no real update on Mandy. She is still living with the guy, and she knows my displeasure at this. When it comes down to it, it is her choice. She says he is moving out, and I figure I'll believe it when it happens. I love my friend, but there is only so far that I can push her in the right direction. I'll still be here, and I'll still support her no matter what. It is her responsibility to really follow through on the changes in her life.

Other than that, things are good. The hand hasn't given me much trouble, and I've stalled on going to have the testing done on it. I'm not really jumping to have a painful test done when it isn't bothering me much at the moment. Hopefully it will fully heal when I'm clear of my job.

I hope all is well for everyone else. I'll not be on to update much in the next week or so with all I have going on, but I'll be around when I can.
