Okay. So, I wore my red t-shirt on Friday, and my paperclip ring. I wore my t-shirt under my school jumper. Mum said I’d be to hot in my usual kind so I wore one of the slightly older, thinner ones with the shorter sleeves. Big mistake. I was bloody freezing (as I told her later on the phone). I had to pay my pound to Richards at reception. According to a notice in the common room it seems that I’m no longer her problem. There seems to have been a reshuffle with the SWC’s and now Mr Happy is in charge of my class . Now the real thorn in my side is Oldbat.
After lunch, as I was going to English with Ms Banks I encountered some stupid children play fighting on the other side of the double doors with their friends watching. Seeing that their little friends were about to get their heads cracked open by the door while they stupidly rolled around on the floor at the top of the stairs the friends held the door shut just as I was coming to it. Not to be put off but noticing from the start that they hadn’t mistaken me for a teacher I wedged my foot against the door as a small group came to my side of the door, all wanting to get out. Now, if I were wearing the old Bootleg shoes that I did in my lower years then the door would’ve been no match for me, but I gave up wearing those three years ago and I now wear a very soft pair of shoes. Needless to sat my toes were squashed right back because If it. I had big concerns for my big toenail as I had a spot of bother with them a while ago. The doors were successfully opened when two year twelve boys from my business class came on the other side of the door and ordered it open. I took the first chance to get through. Ms Banks went to get a coffee and I was alone in her room, so I took off my shoe and massaged my throbbing toe for a little and then quickly removed the sock to check for any bleeding. There was none. I put the sock back on, closed the windows (Ms Banks insists on having them all open) and left my shoe off for the whole two lessons, while I propped the injured foot up on a chair. Had anyone even acknowledged it then I would have removed it but either no one noticed or no one cared so on that chair it stayed.
Saturday.
I slept in. Mum and I went out. I stopped off in that little shop with the crappy dragons because I’d seen some cute teddies in bags for mothers day when I was dragged along with Tom. I selected a cute teddy in a pink t-shirt and in a little plastic bag and, while going to the counter I noticed another little one that came with a mug. (Mum drinks a lot of tea) so I got that too. It came to just over a tenner. Mum wasn’t feeling well, so she was sitting on a bench outside while I did my little covert operation. We queued up outside the cinema to see a film, we selected TMNT as it was the nearest to the time we were there and it was on my ‘to see’ list. Other films include;
300
Ghost Rider
Mr Bean
And I’m sure there was another but I can’t remember what it is right now.

While queuing mum said she felt hot and I was rather concerned because she’d said she wasn’t feeling well when we left and I’d said perhaps we should go next week but she said no. I’d seen that they were selling fans (no not the electric kind) in that little shop so I dashed off to get one. It was a cheap little thing and only came to £2.50. The fan was gratefully received. We got ice cream and watched the film. All the while I kept mum’s presents hidden away in the carrier bag they came in. We got fish and chips on the way home. I hid the pressies in my wardrobe and left the teddy in the bag outside her door before going to bed.
Sunday (today)
I slept in very late. I wrapped the teddy with the mug in green paper and left it on her chair for when she returned from shopping.

Well, that’s all really.

Bluebiird out.

    I'm sorry-manners. How's your foot?? But seriously the Turtles!!! (Again can't find the smile icon--pretend it's there.

    The foot has survived far worse and it was fine by the end of the lesson . Now, The Turtles. I think it was an advanced showing, like Ghost Rider was last time I was there with Tom. I loved the film, it was quite fun and even though the characters looked different from the cartoon series that I know You didn't have to be a genius to know who was who. I'm not sure why and I may be alone in thinking this but it just made me think about it like the cartoon series, only without the annoying "tune in for part 2 next week". Kind of unbelievable but seeming realistic. That's what made it all the more fun

    Thanks for the review. Too bad my grand-son is just a sight too young to take him.

    You'd be surprised how young some of the children were when we saw it. I'd predicted that it'd mainly be full of children and the occasional "comic book nerd" (In the ""'s because you can't tell a comic book nerd by looks, but most of the adults there looked like stereotypical comic book nerds, those without children that is)

    Thanks for the encouragment. I definitely look like the comic book nerd and my kids often were camoflague because I wanted to see the movie but all the begging in the world would not get the wife and daughter to see Rocky and Bullwinkle (live action version). I went anyway hoping people didn't think I was an aging staker of young things.

    Well, I say if you really want to see a film then see it, no matter what people think. Mum and I have gone to see childrens films (after I turned 18 so we have to ask for two adults) and we've been the only people there without children

    I've seen an advert for the Turtles on the TV. It was an advanced showing. They come out tomorrow (Friday)
