Daddy

Rate this Entry
My father tapped on my shoulder
Telling me, sonny, be bolder

Dear son, you gotta be stronger
So you can happily live longer

I said daddy what is wrong
Is it me or the sad song

In your eyes, he said, lies a deep sorrow
As if you don't you wanna see tomorrow

Dear son, this isn't right
Don't give up before you fight

I looked at him with my tears held
While my heart with anguish filled

I managed a sad smile and said
Daddy forget me, I'm dead

Welcome aboard. You'll find quite a mixed batch of people here. We have our ups and downs but I like to think we are an encourgaing lot.
