Life in my world

Well nothin' much to talk about in my hopeless world. My day was dark for it was raining down here and mum is preaching to me about what to do during a tornado. She's paranoid with it. Worse that a hen with chicks. Well, That's it. Comments, questions, and P.M.'s are welcome here.

Bailey!!!!!!! Long time, no see. What's up?
I'm really bored, too. but I'm reviving Litnet-- and going to States. So I'm a bored nervous-wreck, who is also home alone. Not smart. My bow and arrow sits beside me, there's a whole kitchen full of knives, and pudding mix. not healthy.
so sorry you're getting you ear talked off. once it falls off though, at least you won't have to put up with it ^^

Hey Bailey, good to see ya sweetie. Don't worry about your mother, that is what mothers do.

You should know what to do if a tornado strikes. What are you supposed to do? I'm curious. Nice to see you Bailey.

Thanks for taking my side Virgil. We have a shelter, I simply made sure that she knew to leave everything but the boys should the sounds of nature suddenly cease and the sky turn green! Maybe tomorrow I'll wake her with a real lecture and not stop until long after she is in bed. She doesn't know how lucky she has it. And I would like to add that she reminded me of what to do should I find myself on the road with a tornado before I left the house~ like mother, like daughter!

Yes, Bailey, listen to your mama. lol Virgil, tornado drills are a big thing here in Indiana also. Here at home I have a basement to go to but I'll probably blow away with my computer which is on the second floor. haha At school we go to the inside room where there are no windows, sit against a wall with our knees bent, heads down. We have tornado sirens in our town also. Back to Bailey. After what happened not long ago in your neck of the woods would make me nag you too.

Your Mom and I were in the super cells that tore up the country in the spring of 74 and we were lucky. Be glad you have MH for your Mom...Aunt Sarah is a real nut where storms are concerned. I miss you, Kiddo. Hope to see you this weekend.

The only time I ever saw a (future) U.S> president was then Vice President Buch visiitng the Youngstown Ohio area in 1985 that had a tornado touch down and took out a sizeable chunk of real estate in Niles Oh and parts of Pennsylvania. Ironically I did not know what he looked like so just eyeballed the four men in the car leaving the Air Force reserve unit's base I was at at Youngstown Municipal Airport.

Xenia Oh a mere 12 miles or so down the road has been hit twice in the past 20 years.

So I kind of get the panic situation. But if you can avoid the fears more power to you.
