Family Fun Night-Chutes and Ladders With Time!

You know how people forget what day of the week it is, or what day of the month it is? Fair enough. I used to do that a lot. Still do.

But now it's more like, what month is it? What year is it? I seriously have to think for a minute when writing a date down. I'll be thinking, "February 23rd, 1972...wait what?"

Ugh.

"A piece of ancient history, she's a walking mirage."

And,

Why do people my age hate me because I want to know things? Does it get any better when I grow up? Seriously! Why are adults so much more...awesome?! *claws at teacher's longue entrance*

This blog is just the same thing over and over you guys. Sorry. I should find some other stuff to write about...*sigh*

Lily, adults are no different. Kids like the kids you're talking about grow up to be the same kind of adults. It is always this way. You kind of have to learn to enjoy being in a minority, don't worry 'bout what other people think. You are you. This is enough.

Oh me too, I keep handing out papers with the wrong date on them. But more like August 17, 2085 or something like that. I have grown used to the fact that most people aren't really very smart, just conformists. They take but they don't really want to learn or investigate or think for themselves, so when someone actually wants to know they start acting like what they really are. I don't think adulthood will be any better, there will always be that kind of people more than REAL people, unless the earth is conquered by Aliens or something.

Yup - the Fifth is right about that. You will encounter certain kinds of adult people who have not progressed beyond a 6th grade pack mentality and who are incapable of having a single original thought. They don't want to learn anything new, and are content with whatever crap they're fed, as long they don't have to strain they're closed little minds. As an adult, who may find that you have to endure these people for a time (like maybe at work for example, or your in-laws, or whoever). The good news is that you are not like that.

Yeah, I know, I know. There are things that I like about both kids and adults, but yeah...I don't worry about what others think. I really could care less because I know they don't matter in my life. They are conformists, indeed. They hate thinking and they hate me. Thank you all.

Lily, Fifth said it beautifully, I cannot add to her words. Just don't let these kind of lugs get to you. Maybe they are secretly envious that you blaze your own trails and are incredibly pretty and smart and a whole lot of other positive things (I have noticed that you are always cheerful and upbeat). Well, take care, Lily! Kizzo

Lily- You are awesome number one and number two the teenagers at the high school you go to are dimwits- come to my school! (haha, just kidding, just had to throw my normal propaganda at you). Anyways- I accept you! And I don't hate you. And you know the phrase 'misunderstood genius' well to be a genius I firmly believe you must be misunderstood- take it as a compliment.

PS You only think adults are awesome because you think teachers are awesome or should I rephrase that to a teacher is awesome- most adults are older teenagers (notice I didn't say grown up teenagers)
