The last few days have been busy with family -- we finally had our memorial service for my cousin, who was killed in a car crash earlier in March. Her husband and daughter had a service in Florida, where they resided for the last twenty years. Then they went to Wisconsin (home of her husband) for a memorial there with his family. And then they came up here (home of her family) for the last of the services. It was very sad, her dad had to be propped up because he has taken this tragedy very very badly. I think that was the saddest thing of it all, if there is such a thing. It was awful to learn that my cousin is gone, but at least she didn't have a long and drawn out illness, or anything like that. It was instant.

Anyhow, I don't want all my blog entries to be riddled with sad things, but since it is my blog, I felt it worthy to jot down my thoughts about the whole thing.

So yeah, lots of family stuff happening this week.

On another note, took a few pictures, and finally got them developed, so I wanted to stick them in here.

Hope everyone is doing good! My computer time has really dwindled down notably lately due to my hubby using it as a work computer, the family gatherings, and such.

Well, take care,

K♥z

It looks so beautiful where you are... it's very nearly spring here in Southern Ontario, and everything is slush and mud. Ew.

I'm so sorry about your loss, and about your cousin's dad; that is truly awful. Those are very lovely pictures, Kizzie.

Beautiful pictures, Kizzo. Those family get togethers are a mixed blessing. Yes, the occaision is of sorrow, but it's good to see family if you don't see them often. On a side note, I amazed at how many Canadians have family in the US. We ought to make you our 51st state.

Have been hoping to see you back on board but I know it's been a rough patch for you lately. But I always brighten up when I see your name.

By the by--the long suffering one was hmmmm about Pepper's picture--not you. But can I be really be blamed for expecting the worse???
