From my mother. She's doing some last minute cleaning.

I finished almost a half-pack of gum, today. *missed breakfast* We went to a friend's church, and then invited them for lunch afterward. Uncle and Aunt will be coming, too.

I'm sooo tired. Spent all yesterday cleaning house on parent's orders. Went to bed at who knows what time, the woke up this morning to find my dad sticking his half-frozen left hand on my neck.

I hit him.

Not hard, though. So don't worry. He's not in the hospital, or anything.

I've been chasing Andya all weekend. For dessert (desert???) today, she dipped fruit in chocolate, set some cookies on a platter (oatmeal, chocolate chip, and white chocolate chip), and got a box of white chocolate candies.

I haven't been very lucky.

I'm addicted. No, not on drugs. Spices. I like to chew on fennel, corriander, anise, cardomin, etc. etc. etc. I know. Weird. But, it's soo yummy.

    I just noticed that one of your favourite books is the Song of the Lioness- I LOVEEEEE that series!

    I always have a hard time with the dessert/desert spelling issue...

    I think I need to make my girls spend the weekend cleaning house and making chocolate dipped fruit! what a great idea- your mom must be one smart cookie!

    Spices--I vaguely recall as a very very young child thinking play doh was more then just clay and there is a spice rack in the kitchen I occasionally wipe the dust off of. As to chewing gum I rarely do it due to the sad inability to blow bubbles with it which probably contributed to the self-esteem issues growing up.
