Captain Pike's Ship Log II

A Clandestine Abduction -- AVERTED!

Rate this Entry
This weekend, my ex mother-in-law (my mother outlaw?) Showed up at our house and tried to take my son. I couldn't F___ing believe it! She had this thing from the tribal clerk's office where his mother had signed over custody to her mother. The cops were already to make him go with her. Until my wife, Nikki (bless her heart) or otherwise referred to as "Little Mrs. Wonderful", pointed out that his mother isn't the legal custodian -- I am! Oh man, I was just about freaking out! But Captain Pike pulled a hidden Derringer from his boot...

With all the crazy stuff going on... my wife's birthday coming up... I figured, the best idea would be: TO GO TO SAN FRANCISCO FOR THE WEEK!

We'll be gone until the third of April. Wish me luck, I hear San Francisco is still pretty hilly!

good luck!!! San Francisco is always hilly, always nice, maybe a little rainy at this time of year still... but should be fun.. Sounds like quite the get away with the ex mother in law... I hope you didn't have to use that derringer!

Take warm jackets--it will be cold. Very glad your custody worked out and I know you are stupid enough to sign him away. Unlike my kid and he freely acknowledges it as one of the most horrible mistakes he ever made.

That mother-in-law sounds like the type bred in hell, yes indeedy. Too bad that you have still to deal with this sort of nonsense, but yeah -- bless your wife, Nikki. I hope that you guys have a splendid time in San Fransisco and try to unwind, relax and not worry about that troll in a dress (sorry, but she does deserve it). Love, Kizzo

Flipping Heck! Sounds really scary - I hope your son is okay; I'd imagine the whole thing would be really unsettling. Enjoy your trip.
