Hello all.

I presented a speech in my class today, on, surprisingly, The Importance Of Reading. Of course, I brought a couple (7 or 8 ) books with me and everyone's jaws dropped. The general consensus? I think everybody went away from the speech with the firm belief that I Am Not From This World.
But still, I got to show off some of my books. Cheeky, hm?

    Wow! Amazing! You actually did that? Well, at your age, I'm pretty sure that's exactly what they thought.

    Yup. I had another class on Thursday, and whenever there was the slightest chance for the topic of books to come up, it did. The next speech we're doing is a persuasive, and the teacher was coming up with examples. He started with the guy in the middle of the front row. "For example" said the Professor, "I could persuade you to go shopping at Costco" (then he pointed to the lady next to me who had done a speech on grocery shopping techniques) "with a list." That lady then pointed to me sitting next to her and finished the sentence. "to buy books" Everyone laughed, but it was really funny.
