... Lebanon!
My uncle called a few days ago. He's getting married. I personally cannot fathom why anyone would want to spend the rest of their life with him, but I guess somebody does.
My parents have been thinking about going for a while now, and this comes as the perfect opportunity. The only issue - well, tecnically not the only one - is the cost. We went to get our passports today. The cost was around $400 (for the four of us). They think it's the best time to go, though. Because Andya will be going on to college, and my dad is looking for a new job. (kind of)
My mom, Andya, and I will probably be gone for about a month; my dad has two weeks off in June. He's trying to add a couple more days, though.
I was steamed last Wednesday. My mom and I walked all over downtown getting pictures for me to develop at the college lab. When I arrived there later that day, I asked the guy inside the issue room to help me load the film onto the reel in the dark room. (I've been having trouble with that lately, and have been getting finger prints all over the negatives.)
He didn't.

Apparently, he was on break. Even though NOBODY else was there. He told me that it was too bad I've been having problems, but sooner or later I'd get the hang of it.
My mom and I had walked for over two hours that day. A nice fireman saw us hanging around in front of the station, and invited us inside. He even asked another fireman to help him take out the truck when we told him I was taking pictures. They dressed in their uniforms, too.
And this guy told me "sooner or later you'll get the hang of it". I was so mad, I was ready to call him names my mom sure would have charged me a quarter for, if she had heard me say them. But I was able to control my anger. Even after I'd stayed in that bloody darkroom for a couple hours trying to get the bloody film onto the bloody reel.
I didn't put away my equipment. That'll show him.
