    I've often believed that even the darkest things - e.g. Lear holding the dead Cordelia in his arms, convinced in his madness that she still lives - eventhe darkest things permit an element of rejoicing, in that they have been faced and named, but it is hard to feel that about this:


    Along with everything else, your line-breaks are masterful!

    Yes, this is a fine poem Fifth and I agree with prince that your line breaks were skillful. The most intersting part to me is the in and out of being in a body, so that I can't quite tell when the narrator has stepped out of her body and when she returns. Great work!

    Your poem was a most interesting one, Fifth, one that insisted on several readings. There were many phrases that stood out to me as pure beauty (makes me want to go and write poetry all day!), for example
    like before, when you punctured me with words,
    or
    the river bled into the grassy bank.
