I'm starting to worry. I get the results of my colonoscopy and endoscopy in 2 1/2 weeks. I hate doctors and hospitals. I know i'll be waiting well over an hour to see the consultant.
I havent been right since i had the scopes done. I've constant pains in my colon and tummy. I have a feeling they are going to tell me that i have an ulcer in my tummy. I'm getting surer of that every day. And its official...i can no longer drink beer. The gas is making me feel sick and is getting trapped in my abdomen for days leaving me in agony.
As for the colonoscopy...kind of worrying about that. The had taken samples from my colon during the scope, mainly from the area that most of the pain i'm experiencing is located. Also i'm bleeding from time to time. at first it was just small bits of blood but now...now it flows.
I'm sick to my teeth about having to take three tablets everyday, even though they do in fact work.
two and a half weeks... Will it be IBS and an ulcer (or celiac desease like they wanted to check for?)? or will they tell me something else?
Better get out the heat pad again...

    Oh kiddo, I am really feeling for you. It's always so worrisome to wait on results. I'm sorry you are in so much pain. My prayer is for your comfort and that the doctors can find the quickest way to put you in the pink! God bless.

    Thanks everyone...I may have to cut alot out of my diet as a result...and i really hope its something easily mended because if its IBS, its something for life...And yes the beer thing sucks! I'll just have to stick to tia maria instead!

    Naimh, everything will be ok, I'm sure. I hear ibs is a b#$&h, but it's treatable. Ulcers can be lived with I know. It's the no more beer I'll worry about for you.
    Really, don't worry too much. We've all got you in our prayers.

    Thanks everyone. I really apriciate your thoughts...I'm really worring about what the consultants reaction will be when i explain the bad bouts of bleeding. Thats the scary bit. When i spoke to the consultant last in october, he had asked if i had any bleeding and i told him not much only the odd speak. Over the last few weeks its been different. I bleed badly six time in six days. How can i tell him that! I couldnt even bring myself to see my GP, especially seeing as i had already been refared to the hospital by her and had an appointment in two weeks time....But like you guys said, its probably nothing major and i'm only over reaction because like everyone...I really had hospitals....!!!!
