First and foremost:) As promised, here are a couple of pictures of my house going up. I am so happy to see that things are progressing, and I can't wait to move into my new home.

I will continue to post more as it gets further along.

Other things are going on here that have had my attention. We've yet to catch our theif in the store. I'm starting to feel like the owners just don't care, or maybe they're not considering that our problem is as large as some in the other stores. At least we've two honest managers to balance the scales. Not everyone has that.

I don't understand stealing. Not in the type of case that this is. Unfortunatly, I'm having a very hard time remaining calm and not giving away that we're on to her scheme. Our theif offends me on a very personal level, and some days it is all I can do to be polite. She is a "religious" person, and she attends the Church each week. Now, her and I, we share a religion. I was born and raised Catholic, and I've never considered myself anything but. I don't always go to Church, but I do follow all that I was taught as a child. It is very hard to watch someone who projects themselves as this good and upstanding member of the Church commit a crime. Some would consider me wrong for my inattendance, but at least I still live my life according to my teaching. It's like she is so much worse in my head for the fact that she can steal, and then she can go on and sit before her priest like all is well. Enough ranting on that for a bit.

On another fun note, tomorrow is Good Friday. For me it is double the fun this year. First is heralds the coming of Easter for me. I don't know why, but it's always been one of my favorite holidays. Maybe it has something to do with all the happy memories of the day as a child. Even better, it is my last Lent Friday of the year:banana: Hopefully I'll now be able to give my hand a rest and time to heal. I have to agree with some of the responses to my last blog. I'm thinking it may be tendon damage as well. It came on a bit too sudden for some of the other ailments related to repetative motion. One day everything was fine, and then the next I could barely move my fingers.

Well, I'm off for the evening. I was hoping to finish the latest chapter of Kings, Queens, and Pawns, but I ended up making lasagna to take to work tomorrow. We'll be too busy for anyone to leave and get food, so we're all bringing something in as a type of pot-luck meal day. Mine is lasagna, no meat of course, but I can still make a great cheese one.

I hope all is well for everyone else. I'm going to try and catch up on the blogs a bit this weekend. I'm a bit behind, and there is much I still mean to do. I've also some more cover letters to write this weekend so I can continue to send out resumes.

Much Love,
Meg

I liked seeing the pictures of your home and it will good to share these with the kids as they get older at their first real home. Hope the thief issue gets resolved soon. Unfortunate for the 'religious' thief having a blind spot but Judas held the bag so she's illustious company. Hope Friday goes well for you.

Isn't it exciting to watch the progress on your house? It'll look different every week and soon it'll look like your home. Congratulation! As for the thief, what goes around comes around. One day, she will pay for being dishonest. Don't let her get to you, Kiddo. Happy Easter. May the Peace of the Lord be with you.

Hey, it's getting there Meg. It'll be up in no time. I would love to see pictures as it progresses. Lots of fun watching things get built.

It will be exciting to watch the various stages of this wonderful, brand new home, thanks for the pics, Meg! I can't comment about the religious end of that woman's antics -- she will have herself to answer for, that is for sure. You can fool some of the people some of the time .... (you know the saying). Your lasagne is meatless?? WOOT! Could you make a special blog entry with the recipe one day if/when you get the chance? I'd love to try it out! Happy Easter to you and your family, Meg. -- K♥z

Happy Easter Meg! I'm excited for you and the new house. I still haven't had my own house. Anyways, I make a mean Lasagna roll. Its softened noodles and then cheese, fresh chopped spinach, and black olives. Put ingredients on boiled noodle, cheese first, then other ingredients. Roll from one end and cut the noodles in half. If you use fancy noodles it looks better. finally put in a shallow pan, choose meat or meatless sauce, and Mozzarella over the top. Its pretty tasty. Sorry about the thieves, that does suck. B
