So, I posted a whole lot of Pepper pictures, when I could have reflected on my one year anniversary with you guys here at LitNet.

How did a year pass by in a blink? How many friends have I rubbed shoulders with? Poems I felt? Stories I have been awed with? Anecdotes that made me laugh? The list goes on and on.

Thanks, LitNet, for welcoming me into your community, for encouraging me with my writing, and most of all, for being the warm and awesome bunch that you all are.

Yay us!

And now for the usual bit of haiku blathering that I insist on (can't help/stop myself):

A whole year has passed
a community welcomed
I found a home here

When life has you down
LitNet is the place to be
you can quote me, too!

    Congratulations. It doesn't seem like a year. I remember when I first noticed you using the Jean Harlow avatar wondering who would pay homage to a star who most have probably never seen ina picture lo these many decades ago so i stopped to read (and watch) and I am better forthe friendship.     Yes, there are a lot of cute duggies in this kennel: schnauzers, weimareiners, Scotties - even a French Poodle, not to mention a Rottweiler or two!
