I'm so glad to finally get to do this! It's a bit later than I hoped, but our computer is only allowing a short while everyday.

I've still been thinking a lot about what you said about evolution. Thank you, a lot, for sharing that, as it really put things into perspective for me. Wednesday I'm going to an appointment with my psych professor to ask him some questions on evolutionary psychology and I'm in between excited and apprehensive. It promises to be an enlightening time, but since I know (I've learned?) that I'm not perfect I'm somewhat more confident that I won't get mired in something irrelevant. It's kind of weird that in evolutionary thinking people are allowed to be unperfect on their road to ultimate perfection; as I read and do school and learn really, how depraved I am, I hate how awful I would be were it not for God's grace. Yet we are made whole in Christ.
Thank Heaven for God! I'm glad He's in charge.

Blogging. I've always enjoyed your entries Rich. You couch whatever you want to say in a wryly humorous way that garners readers -- I end up WANTING to read your entries. But I think I understand what you mean about blogging from the heart instead of blogging stuff that doesn't seem quintessential to your being.

Do you know, when I asked why do you read my blog I didn't think I'd be complimented, and this isn't the first time I've done something like that. Very dorky times, I must admit, as my purpose is usually obscured in something vaguely academic . Like asking weird psychological questions.

I really, really appreciate your giving God the glory!! That's one of the things I love about you--you know very well where praise goes!!

Friendship is important to me, like I said. I too have lots of acquaintances; not many people...well...they are a bit weirded out, perhaps rightfully so, by me.
Thank you for your friendship. It means so much to me! The LitNet has opened way for real friendships with adults (!!!) like you. In real life I wouldn't be able to because most times adults talk with each other. I've learned a lot from you, and am honored that you consider me a friend.

I am interested in differences between me and others because otherwise I'd be intolerable.

Love,
Andave

They say a person is known by the friends and loved ones he has. I am honored to be considered your friend and greately humbled by the response from you and others here at Litnet.

God is a wonderful, precise God that works miracles. In you I see the joy in worshiping God as I tend to struggle with the formalities/heart attitudes of lovong God as I rarely seem to obey him.

Best to your professor. My general slant on God and mankind and I seem to see this reflected greatly in the religious forums is that man will do anything to excuse his lack of worship to God on the grounds that we are just flesh but refuses God the same in regard to recognizing His rights in being the Creator. There are reasons Romans 9 is hard to take sometimes. It strips us of all our pretensions of greatness and entitlement.

Don't be overwhelmed by the depravity of the heart. Just keep turnming it over to the Lord for cleaning and all will be well.

Your entry was a delight and pleasure to come home to. It's been a VERY busy week at AAA and ice hit tonight in my area and there were two hours waits. Had 12 winchouts all within an hour and over half were in the area I was supervising.
