I am often talking about my pet dog, Pepper, a black miniature schnauzer. She was born in July 2001 and we received her in September 2001 (how that changed my life you can never guess ...)

I love the picture with the flower on her collar... she is an incredibly cute dog... the pictures of her playing with her rope toy, remind me so much of the dogs my family had when I was growing up..

And in case your parents neglected your Yiddish education I will explain that "schlepper" is derived from the word schlep to pull or to drag. A schlepper is someone who is careless about their appearance, who appears, that is, to just drag themselves around...
