Mushy Brain Rant

I honestly think that my brain is turning to mush.
I honestly think that my education professor has lost her touch.
I honestly think that going to class was a waste of time today.
It would have been a good class; it sure did start out looking good. There are only four of us in the class, and when we came in, the professor had us pull our desks all right up to her's, so that we were all close together. Today was the day we were turning in our first detailed lesson plans...to give you an idea of just how "detailed" these suckers are, mine was 12 pages long. Most of it was dialogue written like a play that is supposed to depict what conversation would be happening in the classroom for the lesson.
Anyways, four of us came in with our ginormous lesson plans today. We sat before the professor and she had one of the students start reading. She made her re-read the general info about the hypothetical class, her objective, and the list of info that the class would be learning that day. (This is all stuff that all four of us have shared on numerous occasions in class before today, and in my opinion, a complete waste of time.) There were, of course, no corrections to be made because the professor had already read over this stuff.
Then the intro, motivation, and dialogue began. I could tell the professor wanted this to be a group activity, but it really wasn't turning out to be. While the rest of us saw nothing wrong with the way the girl's dialogue was developing, the professor interrupted every three lines to tell the girl how she should change it...and in most cases all the teacher did was re-word or re-arrange what the girl was saying. It was all superficial. So annoying.
This repeated with another girl, and then another, and the professor saved me for last because I had the least interesting topic to teach (compex sentences). Of course, we had only 4 minutes of class left when she got to me...and the woman STILL wanted me to re-read my objective! I was so ready to jump into the dialogue and get some feedback, but apparently she's so senile that she forgot that she'd already read and re-worded my objective like 50 times!!! Aaaaaggghhhh!!!
She also seems to re-word the dialogue to fit her personal teaching style. Like, to use the words she would use. For example, when I asked Little Johnny what a simple sentence was, and he answered "a subject and a verb," and I said "And...?" That was unacceptable. However, it was totally acceptable if instead of "and" I said "What else...?" I just don't get that.
Anyways, just a rant, thanks for listening.
