this entry's just a collection of short writings. last night i really tried to write out in more words. the ones before it are written a little sooner.
"heart beating fast,
it happened like this once
I read the words
and it got this thing started
to life
back to beautiful shadows,
start a clean page,
and turn the light off.
start a clean page,
and turn the light off."
"hello. i am a soul,
my nature is that of the sky.
I am untouched by anger,
my thoughts are that of love,
but if you leave me i will die.
i am with another, Life,
a friend always-
all things shine by her light.
we together are bound by Love,
we stay by the spirit Tree,
it's where i'll be."
and this is what i wrote last night. i hope you like it.
"I find beauty in the unnoticed,"
this is what she said to me,
and for me and my wife,
it's true, or so it seems to be.
First we must ask, is there truth?
Then we must know what we are.
I know, most truly, we are two souls,
and our love has the might of a star.
My past life burned,
it is gone like the ash of wood;
I am left with but deep impressions
of powerful, prophetic tones.
Two men now, have told me one thing;
(Two of the deepest, kindred souls)
The reason we cannot escape from sin
Is we are responsible for all men,
Or, to look upon, we see what we are.
Were it not for angels,
My besieged heart would collapse.
Under this hate.
The words.
The comparisons.
The evil envy.
Despite love, it would be over.
In the face of this,
what is there but retreat?
The only tragedy is the destruction of light.
the prevailing of lies.
when, all I had to say,
was morning follows night.
by a length of parallels,
conclusions, realizations,
insights and intuitions,
which I cannot depict in words,
I have seen these glorious truths;
They have to do with reading,
seeing, breathing,
loving, building,
yoga, god,
(one special truth is that yoga is the method of attaining the supreme)
transcendental platform coming-to.
Life is but a dream,
And every thought, a sacred blessing,
Which we profane with baseless words;
Instead of illuminating.
And I read it once in a Science Fiction novel,
"Every thought is true."
So now, on a more personal note,
to everyone so interested to read until now,
my life has become so much more than I could have imagined.
Everything- false- fell away,
when I confronted what was real,
and my life, how can i express-
was loved, valued,
and all my deepest ideas...
so I am in love,
and how much has been revealed!
Day after day I am shown these revelations.
I see being has so many layers!
When I am down, then mysteriously,
a stranger appears to say,
"Look what has happened to me!"
And if a god has a gift to give you,
do not turn it away.
Months ago, it may have been,
when I saw "a new world"
before me,
and a little time after that was when,
for the first time,
I knew, without a doubt,
"I know who I am."
Now, for the first time,
I know I'm sharing "my new world" of destiny.
So much possibility.
So, just a few words of explanation. Mainly to Rich, but also to anyone else who's been interested enough to read this far, and would like some explanation.
The first stanza, "I find beauty in the unnoticed"... was nothing more than just a thought shared with a certain person a little while ago. Since she told it to me it's occured in my thoughts many times since then, so I thought I might as well use it in some writing. The next stanza may not be perfectly worded, but if you get to a certain 'nuther level, it's fine, and you might actually understand it.
The first question- what I mean by the scope of this is the highest annuls of truth, although sadly sometimes we are hindered by certain blockings. Later in the poem I use the cryptic line, "to look upon, we see what we are." Now I'm not using this cryptically so no one would understand, in fact I prefer if people think about it and do understand it, that's why I'm trying to explain. This is something you'll see Blaze say-- the thought is attributable to Alan Watts, too, he says: "You are that vast thing that you see far, far off with great telescopes." And just before it is the assertion of Father Zosima (Dostoyevsky's character) that we are responsible for the sins of all men. Later what I try to say-- all I'm really trying to express, is that inexpressible thing, but in the vein of unlimited possibility. I've had my foundation upturned, in complete revelation, many times in the last months, but I can't express any it in words. The only way for it to happen is for there to be this unlimited possibility.
So, okay, the rest I will leave up to interpretation. See what you will.
