BWAA! I'm so mad

I am so sick of my parents! And it's not just because I'm a teenager-- were that the issue there would be none, since my tendency is to change myself to fix other people's needs, to jump and run at their beck and call-- no, the problem is them.
"Wash Sunny's bowl for her-- it's the sisterly thing to do." She left it on the counter for two days with corn flake residue in the bottom!! Then, it was Dad's tone of voice. Almost as if it said "Lord knows you should be doing some sisterly deeds."
Well... Jesus Christ!! I thought it was a "sisterly deed" to wash her dinner dishes for her twice last week, and put the food away for her three times, and put her to bed every night, and wake her up every morning; the last of which I get punched for-- that sisterly deed! And I thought it was a sisterly deed to clean the bathroom for her this afternoon because she was in a bad mood. So I mentioned it, and she came bursting in the kitcken "That's why I don't like letting people do stuff for me! 'Cause then they go throwing it in your face!"
Was I even talking to her?! I don't mind doing stuff for people, but when they (or other people) make it sound like I never do anything for anybody (my parents like to invoke the word "selfish"), then by God, I'll throw it in their face.

    But but did you wash the bowl or not??!! There is some high unresolved drama going on here. My brothers never had to do dishes. I was stuck with them EVERY night. (In fairness to them they did other things.)

    Everybody should just do their own damn dishes... it solves a lot of problems.

    I dont think you should be dragged into doing things for your sister. It should be out of the goodness of your heart (corny), if you do it at all. It's not really sisterly if you're forced into it. . Besides, as a teenager, the sisterly thing to do is fight!

    Another mystery to be filed with the rest--did she or didn't she wash the dishes?? Is Rhett ever coming back for Scarlett?? Was it the lady or the tiger??? Sigh

    it will blow over, trust me... at the moment you feel like you can kill (well, maybe that's a strong term) your sister, but in a few days you'lll see it as nothing. yeah, i have a little sister and i know that i can be difficult haveing to be a "rule modle". wish you the best luck with it though! (doesn't being a teenager stink!)

    I quite don't get the problem. You should be doing things for her anyway. That way you improve your karma and get leverage against her!
