Exiled in a kilt

Stuff & Nonsense

No work today (I know, I know even when I am at work I dont really do anything), in exchange for voting for Dalt in the last election got a new public holiday. So Happy Family Day people.........

One of the cats got put down last week, he was 18 had him since lived back in glasgow. He had a hyperactive thyroid, which required constant medication and over the last month his whole body just began to shut down completely. Also, I'm not sure if cats can become senile, but if they can, he was.

The older brother is getting married. He has been with the girl for about 6 years now. She is an Art History Major, specialising in Museum Curation - graduated from her masters program at St Andrews on the same day as Prince W. Also spent a year interning at the Getty Foundation in Cali. She has been good for my brother, they met when he was still working in a shop - now he is in the Second Year of a Politics/Public Policy degree at Glasgow Uni & consistently acheiving high grades (despite the fact he left school at 16) They get married June 2009.

I don't like this Family Day holiday... I want to be able to go shopping. Aha. Sorry to hear about your cat, my kitty is 16 and seems to be going along the same path. Congrats for your older brother!

Happy Family Day. Here it's Presidents day, we usually have the day off but this year due to someone's (not mine) poor planning we had to work.

    Sorry about the cat.
