In his prime

Beep! Beep! Beep! An annoying noise woke Auni from her sleep. Ugh, it was a stupid alarm clock that Kioshi set last night.
"What time is it?" she asked rolling out of bed. She had slept so well last night, much to her surprise.
"If you're referring to your time on earth," Kioshi said coming out of his room, " It's six a.m. But here in Nyeymouel it is referred to as the sixth sun. You should try to remember that."
"Mmmm." Auni acknowledge, to tired to really pay attention. There was a knock at the door and Madoline walked in. “Mad!”
“Auni,” she said running into her arms. She was smiling and her eyes glowed. “I missed you.”
“I did too, Mad.”
“Hi, Kioshi.”
Kioshi nodded to show that he heard.
“What did you do?” Auni asked.
“Fia called me and I got to be with her all day! It was great! I got a dwess too! It’s so pretty!”
“I’m sure it is.”
“We better get going,” Kioshi interrupted, “We have a couple places to stop.”
“Where to?” Auni asked, upset that was all the time she was going to get to spend with Madoline.
“Places.”
She sighed then hugged Madoline.
“I’ll come over as soon as I can, okay?” she asked. Shaking her head she smiled at Auni and ran out.
About five minutes later Kioshi was at the door ready to leave. They walked down the five flights of stairs and entered the city of Kios. A “Welcome to Nyeymouel” sign hung on their apartment building. People and elves bustled about the crowed streets full of venders and a salesmen/elves. Shops were open, which frankly surprised Auni at such an early hour. They walked through the crowd and Auni found it somewhat hard to keep up with Kioshi. He walked in the crowd as if he was the only one there, and surprisingly, no one ran into him. The first shop the entered looked like some kind of phone shop. The sign read...
 Interesting.
The man behind the counter saw Kioshi and turned pink in the face.
"Shapheroth!" the man shouted. "Bemlec ner el pho bleck! Spamitis ne parsen!
“Tow kay nem res.” Kioshi replied. He made a gesture toward Auni.
“Sorry ma’am,” The man said , his voice a thick accent, “But your friend Kioshi is late with a bill. Two hundred reges!”
Kioshi shook his head.
“I wasn’t here, Wiidhao,” he said, “How was I supposed to pay while I was gone?”
“Shapheroth!” Wiidhao swore again. “Just pay the bill and get out. I will have no further business with you!”
“If I gave you three hundred reges, would you renew my phone? You know very well that you have one of the longest ranges of phones.”
“That is true... Give me four hundred an we have deal.”
“No, three.”
“No deal then.”
“Fine, then I’ll take my business else where. Come Auni.”
Kioshi began to walk out.
“Wait! You cut off an arm and a leg, Kioshi, but you got a deal.”
Kioshi almost smiled. He pulled out his wallet and place what Auni guessed to be three hundred reges. Wiidhao went to the other end of the store and typed in something on a rusty old machine.
“Try your phone,” Wiidhao said. Kioshi flipped open his phone and pressed some buttons.
“Yep, it works.” he said then signaled for Auni to follow him out the door.

“Madoline,” said a maid, “ Fia wants to see you again.”
“Okay,” Madoline replied as she jumped off the bed she had been sitting on. She was wearing the dress Fia had given her.
The maid led Madoline out of her room and down the hall. Suddenly, a man jumped out of the shadows and looked at them. The maid froze in terror.
“Hello, Madoline,” the man said, “My name's Tyler.”

“What are you going to do with the girl?” said the voice from the transmitter.
“I altered some of her DNA... she won't be able to see in Auni's eyes anymore." Tyler replied.
"This is good because?"
Tyler rolled his eyes.
"First, so not being able to see through Auni's eyes means that she no longer will be able to know if something is going on. Second, now only part of the prophesy can be filled. So they will doubt whether or not Auni is really the true Cointarum."
"Oh...."

"Ready?" Jiedm asked. Auni nodded her head. For the past two hours Jiedm had been teaching Auni how to block and punch. Auni nodded and positioned her feet. Right foot in back... left in front... knees bent. She clenched her fist tighter and punched in front of her. Jiedm blocked it. She sent several more and he blocked all of them before he started to punch. One from the left... on from the right. Both blocked when Auni sent in another punch. This messed up Jiedm's pattern and he blocked it then punched her in the chin. Auni stumbled back, jarred by the sudden pain that launched itself in her chin. She clenched her fist when her hand began to beam jets of blue light. Not here. Auni pleaded. Jiedm had begun to walk away when he saw a little of the light.
"You should ask Kioshi the restrictions of Cointa," he said. Jiedm had a deep, scratchy voice that crawled up Auni's spine. He was quite for someone who knew how to teach and it drove Auni mad.
He's right. The voice said. Though slightly startled, she was not scared nor shocked at its presence. Kioshi has to lay out the restrictions and explain what you have.
Then why should I ask him?
Do not judge one who's life's past is a mystery.
What kind of a teacher has a hard time guiding his student?
All teachers have their flaws.
If you know so much, why don't you just tell me it all now?
Everything has its prime.
