Where Does time Go????

Rate this Entry
I don't know where all the time goes, but I just noticed, I've not been on the Lit Net in almost a week:( Soooo.... some updating is in order;)

First, my home loan is still in limbo, and I'm amazed how much more difficult it is to get in touch with the loan person when they don't want information. It is starting to get old, and I just want to know where everything stands.

My mom is going to have to get another job, I think. That or she is going to start babysitting some other children to make ends meet. The business just isn't making it, and they've really put themselves in a bind with the whole thing. I worry because I could be in a bind too, if I have to go elsewhere for childcare. Selfish, I know, but I am almost more worried about that. Is it wrong to be mroe concerned over your own financial welfare than that of your parents?????

Work is just work. I think we've a thief in the store, and it will leave my general manager (and good friend) in a bind when I get around to taking another job if our suspicions are correct. It will mean the firing of one assistant, and I'll be quiting for better opportunities. I'm feeling a little bad about the whole thing, but my resolve is strong.

I've two companies that I'm interviewing with at the moment. I hope to be employed with one of them starting immediatly after Lent. Easter is early this year, only the 23rd of March, so I'm employable by another company on the 24th. I'll have kept my word to stay through Lent, I'll have just kept it, but it will be kept all the same.

I tried to call a friend to night, and I was sad to not reach them. I'll try to call again soon. I've too few friendships, and I'm sorry that I've been neglectful of those I have and cherish in the past weeks.

I'm still working on my story. I'm trying to make the difficult decision of scrapping a few chapters and rewriting them. I've not decided if that is what I wish to do, but I've lost focus on the story. I need to discover a good way to pick the treads back up and keep the plot moving. Right now it seems to be drowning admist a bunch of other things. The only other option is to just adapt my original idea to fit the story I've written and not the initial on I planned on. Any ideas????

Well, I'm off for the evening. I've a long day tomorrow, but I hope to catch up here again soon.

Much Love,
Meg

Nice to hear from you, Meg. I was just thinking about you today. Sorry about the thief; what an uncomfortable situation. Hope the story issues resolve themselves--maybe take a break and come back to it and see what happens? For months now I've been planning a new story that I haven't put on paper yet but I'm really excited as the planning is ironing out kinks and stuff. Not to mention it's really helped in keeping my heroine believable. Anway, lovely to see you back on board! I know how you feel; I was just telling Rich that I've been neglecting the LitNet something fierce. Schoolwork!! Cheers, Andya.

Meg, I'm so glad you are back. I hope all of this is resolved soon and March 24 finds you at a regular, but highly rewarding, job with excellent pay and an outstanding benefits package!!
