Lady Rose

Rate this Entry
Lady Rose

She was a rose not yet in bloom
within the shadows a delicate flower
golden feathers woven through her loom
from her place within the garden tower

Ghostly white she dances neath the moon
a nightingale provides sweetly the tune
smile ripens upon her rose bud lips
only of nectar she takes slow sips

This is pretty. It reminds of me of my once all time favorite poem, the Lady of Shalott

It is very pretty. I like it DM. I think you mistyped "yet" in the first line. Was it inspired by the Lawrence story we're reading?

Hehe thank you, and acutally I was just coming back to fix that because I just realized I had mistyped the word.

LOL and yes Virgil it was inspired by the story

Thank you Shalot, acutally The Lady of Shalot, is often a inspiration to me in my works.
