Kioshi flew threw the giant gates that lead into Nyeymouel’s kingdom. Auni was still unconscious and he carried her in his arms. Oara was walking beside him, she smiled-even with a bruise on her cheek- with pride at the small fight they had just won, for she knew that was just one of many that were in the future. The hall which they walked through was tall and wide, windows where thin, tall, and close together. The white light from outside shone into the room and made it look like gold. Several people had seen them and made eager bows.

Five minutes into the walk a man walked up to them and nodded his head, “ Kioshi, is this her?”

“Master Goxacu, yes, this is Auni.” Kioshi said with a blank face.

“What have you to her?” Goxacu asked. Oara’s face dropped with sudden surprise.

“We did nothing to her!” she said with indignation. Goxacu held up a old, silent hand to her.

“Quite Oara, let Kioshi speak.”

Oara frowned and blushed with embarrassment.

“I went to high in altitude... there wasn’t enough air for her.” Kioshi replied with a hurt face. He hadn’t meant for Auni to pass out from his haste for getting her to Nyeymouel. Goxacu placed a hand on him and looked at Kioshi with a serious face

“You were, Kioshi, concerned with other people, and not concerned for the one who controlled their lives... Remember, without patience, time itself will fall.”

Kioshi nodded his head.

“Now, let me have Auni. You must now go back and get the other child from Earth.”

Turning on his heal, Kioshi went back down the hall and Oara was following.

“Stay here, Oara,” Goxacu said. Oara frowned again but stud put. "Kioshi should go alone."

Kioshi nodded and laid Auni in Goxacu's arms for him to care for her.

Kioshi jumped off the canyon, the wind raced through his hair and he slightly smiled at the gravity that was pulling him down. He landed peacefully on the ground in front of the cave he had sealed the other day. Something was wrong....

Kioshi quickly moved the bolder and as soon as it was, a foul smell filled the air. Studying t he ground he found that other people had been there. But I ceiled it off.
Thought Kioshi to himself. He walked more swiftly were he had left Eligantia and Madoline sleeping. He froze. Laying on the floor, blood spilled about her, was Eligantia. Dead. His heart rose to his throat with sadness and anger. He burned everywhere with failure. And he didn’t let himself stop staring at the cold, lifeless body. How did this happen? Why did someone kill just her? Stop. Kioshi determined his face into a deep scrawl. He knew in the beginning that they’re lives would always be at stake as long as they sided with him. So it shouldn’t have been a surprise that O.T. had killed Eligantia.

Thunder was heard and rain fell as Kioshi gravely carried the limp girl outside the cave. Within minutes he was drenched and all blood was washed off Eligantia, making the puddles red. In the center of the canyon Kioshi laid her down and slowly placed stones and rocks atop her. About an hour later Eligantia was almost fully buried when Kioshi cut off several strands of his hair and placed them on her forehead. Putting the last rock over her, Kioshi straitened up and felt the different patterns on him. Suddenly a feeling was in his upper left arm. He looked over and his eyes widened in high surprise. His upper arm was shining green. But Kioshi didn’t panic, he had been raised his whole life around mystical things. This wasn’t uncommon for him either. It disappeared.

“Time is running short,” Kioshi said and headed inside to wake Madoline.

Madoline fluttered her eyes open and saw Kioshi looking down at her. There was sadness in his eyes.

“Hello, Kioshi,” she said, smiling at such a kind face. “What’s wrong?”

Kioshi smiled, touched that she was concerned and could see his trouble.

“Eligantia won’t be here anymore,” said he helping Madoline sit up.

“Okay, how come?”

Kioshi flinched slightly.

“She had to go some where.”

“Oh.”

She slipped her hand in his and he glanced down at her. Madoline looked sad and troubled. But when she looked at him it faded away. her hand was so small compared to his. It seem to disappear in his.

“When can I see Auni?” she asked looking up at him, her big eyes bright with hope.
“Soon, Madoline, soon,” Kioshi said and he lead her outside.
