I feel like an old lady. My ears tickle, my throat burns like crazy, and don't let me get started on my massive headache.

Tis the season.

Anyway, I have some good new at least. My 4h club sent a bunch of supplies and Christmas cards to the troops last November. Somebody from Mosul sent a letter adressed to me, and written to the whole 4h club . . .

Does that make sense? I mean to say that my name was on the envelope, and the card inside was written to the whole club.

I've also been watching way too many videos on youtube. Mmm . . . Marx Brothers!

Yippee! I finally got the new Star Wars book from the library. Been waiting for about three months, but I finished it one day. Less, actually.

I did end up painting the plaque for my mom. Ugh. It took all morning, and when I was finished the floor looked prettier. *Sigh*

I think I'll go take a nap.

    If you like Star Wars books there are approximately a new one each month. I believe Dark Horse is the current publisher. Ironically back in the day Lucas had a mere handful of novels authorized beyond the movie adaptations and it was barren for quite a number of years.

    Your note from the troops was sent to you but they probably figured you were the representative of the 4-H Club and wanted to be inclusive to everyone in their thanks.

    I'm sorry you feel poorly, but be thankful it isn't worse. I think that is so cool that you got the letter of thanks from Mosul. I think maybe you should write a reply, and maybe make some new friends....the world could use some kind friends. Anyways....(twiddle my thumbs) I love Dark Horse...moody and intriguing (sp) I would take mtpspur's advice. Cheers and Cowbells, bB

    You are probably right about Random House. BUT Dark Horse currently publishes umteen zillion Star Wars comics right now. Sorry about the mix-up. DH has been doing some novels (Universal Monsters for instance).

    Curiousity got to me so I punched up Yahoo and typed in Star Wars novels and there was a link simply titled List of Star Wars stories. Glad I never got the bug to collect these--they are fast catching up to all the Star Trek novels. I have the Quantum Leap and Highlander novels myself.
