Some good news

Rate this Entry
Things here are going well. The kids are sick, again, but they are doing better each day. I'm afraid that I keep bringing things home from work to them. Porr babies, I just wish I could keep them from getting it all, but I knew it would be bad being our first year back home and all.

In other news, I'm at the end of an eight day stretch, and my schedule for the next seven days isn't too bad. I have to only work three of the next seven (if all goes as planned), and I'm going to use some of the time to write. I have spent some time in the last few days outlining the next ten or so chapters of my story, and I'm going to sit and write a bit on my time off. I'm part way through a chapter now, and I hope to finish either tonight or tomorrow:banana: I'm finally finding a bit of time to work on it.

Things are also going well with my home loan. I should have the final paperwork finished up in the next few days. All I need to do is e-mail my husband's letter of offer for a job, and I'm also waiting on Sallie Mae to fax over my consolidation paperwork. After that, we should be finished with that for a while, and they'll be breaking ground on my house in a few weeks.

I've also gotten a call back on another job. I don't know if I'll be asked to interview yet, but I am waiting to do the phone interview this evening, hopefully. I still continue to put out resumes each day or two. There have not been a whole lot of positions posted, but I apply for what I can. I'm also hoping to get a raise soon at work. We are already fast approaching the time in which I'll say goodbye, if possible. Lent starts with Ash Wednesday in just one week. Then I've six fridays and my obligation is at an end. I've been told by both my district and general manager that they are hoping to get me to stay, but we'll see what is offered first. I'm not too sure more money will do the trick. Money is nice, but I miss seeing my kids. I still want to try for a set scedule, but if I don't find another position.... who am I to argue with more money for what I'm doing now;)

I hope all has been well with everyone else. I've gotten to some blogs, but not nearly as many as I would like.

Much love,
Meg

Great news about your house, Meg. Hold out for a great offer with your job. Maybe they'll give you what you need to be with your babies more. I hope they are feeling better.
