Well, I can understand you playing the field, Pete. If I can understand this -- you don't want to put all your eggs in one basket until you are sure, and you are not sure unless you have more than one romance going. Hope this is construed correctly, and there is nothing wrong in dating a few people. How else would you ever know what you really want in a life-long partner otherwise. Now about the photo, very nice. My friend from Japan would call that having a flower in each hand (he says it sounds better in the true language, more poetic). As for your two little poems, they are very sweet, they really reach out and earnestly want to know something. I am deeply touched that you mentioned me in the dedication of the poetry to your friends here at LitNet. And that is what we are -- so when you need a friend, you only have to come here and one of us is always on line. You are going through a trying time right now. Take a deep breath, listen to classical music, try to collect your thoughts -- nothing major has to be concluded right this moment, right? Kind of correct...I haven't let romance go too far, but when Women come to me...they come in more than one...I am having fun, and then they walk into the party, and I just like to be friendly...until I meet the woman that sees me beaten and broken and not unhappy...nor drunk, nor oh goodness if you only knew how filthy or what not...when they can accept me for me regardless...And I find them, and unfortunately they leave, and then I get hurt or vice versa, and well you know...everything...life happens.

Back in the day I tended to pursue one lady at a time. Badly. I tended to overanalyse the situations and misread signals on an alarmingly regular basis. Your Kris sound like my Susies. There are flashback dreams it is to be confessed. Annoying after all these years of wedded bliss and blisters. Hang in there. Only advice I can offer is that if you feel at peace with the lady that is a good thing. Also think of who you can be with this one or that one or the person you aspire to be. Then leave the rest to God's good guidance.

I too am flattered by the dedication. I heavily related to the first poem. Hang in B. You definitely are kinder to the camera then I. What I could have done with your looks and charm the world is probably better off not enduring.

OK, Pete. I’m just no good at keeping my mouth shut when I have any inkling of an opinion. Here’s the deal- everyone wants to pick who is right and no one wants to jump in only to find out that Ms. Right is flying in tomorrow. The thing is that it’s so easy to get caught up in the right one. I doubt that anyone who has been married for very long will tell you that they wake up every morning saying “AH, this is the life!” eventually we all ask “what have I got myself into!?!” the thing is a good marriage is not measured like that. I think you should ask yourself if you are willing to do ANYTHING for the relationship and always put them first and then ask if the other person is willing to do ANYTHING for the relationship and always put you first. I don’t know if serious girls hang out in clubs, but you are a great looking and smart guy who should be able to find girls just looking under the drivers seat for change. Ugly men don’t have this kind of problem- I think maybe if you weren’t quite so good looking you wouldn’t have this problem either. Maybe if your looks start to fail you’ll be willing to just pick one that’s pretty good and make the best of it. Love is really nothing like that emotion, and everything like a commitment that feels good and bad. I bet you know that, but you seem such a romantic. WOW, good looking, really smart and witty, well read, vast experience, romantic and employed! You’re a real catch! I’m posting this private. I wouldn’t normally just talk this way. I hope my blurbing my thoughts right out there doesn’t offend or embarrass you, but I think you can take some blurbing. The poems were great, by the way.

First, I love having a face to put with everything else Pete:) I don't think I've seen you before this. Keep hanging in there waiting for the RIGHT woman. She will come along, and she'll likely appear when you've all but given up on finding the correct one. I'm not going to say the perfect one, because I don't think that there is only one perfect person for anyone, but there is always that one person who isn't perfect that you're willing to work to make it all turn out good anyway.
