Upon knowing his history, the sultan and the star became one, each gave up their immortal sands to reform into an old man. Now reformed to his noble self, the sultan began a campaign to restore the realm to glory and prosperity. He would not see the completion of the restoration, as his aging accelerated to catch up with nearly a thousand years of agelessness. As he died, his immortal soul transferred to the person most fit to rule the realm. The chosen one, a woman in her 20s, with striking beauty, but revered for her wisdom became the new Sultan. Guided by the immortal soul of the God-ruler, the realm prospered and again became a beacon of civilization. The wards against darkness no longer weighed on the shoulders of mortals; the prophecy is fulfilled. As long as there are wise people in the realms, the immortal soul of the Sultan will ensure its the protection from chaos.
