Sci Fi Story

Well, just kicking back in Anchorage now. I flew in yesterday and stopped by the office. Got to hang out with some fellow North Slope workers. Its the winter festival weekend here in Anchorage (named Rendesvous Redux). Watched the dogsled race through downtown, and now just kicking back. The hotel room is frigid, so I have the sunlamp and hairdryer going in the bathroom to warm up a bit. Also, its nice to have a warm room for a shower.

Started reading Thomas Pynchon's Gravity's Rainbow, and find it a slightly confusing writing style. Oh well, back to the book.
